BUG - Unable to enter DUCAL palace?

in BG:EE Bugs (v1.2)
I was able to enter the first time but I had to reload.

After that it just kept saying 'You must gather your party before venturing forth...' even though all of my party members were at the gate.

    Did you talk to the guard again and show him your invitations?

    The first time I entered there was no guard on the outside.

    Unless there is 2 different entrances?

    There should be a Flaming Fist guard in front of the gate (assuming you're in Chapter 7). His name is Bill.image

    Okay I wasn't in Chapter 7 and I was able to get in however after reloading to another saved game I was not able to get in again.
    So in MUST be a BUG then.

    My party was somehow able to squeeze through the bars of the gate! FREAKY! cause I'm pretty built!
