Please, please make sure that you and all parties involved:
-have the most up-to-date version of the game (as of this last edit, 2014)
-can rule out 3rd party mods which may be causing the issues (i.e. a mod itself may be causing the issues either directly or indirectly, such as one person having a mod while the other does not - that can lead to widespread game instability and crashing)
-have the most up-to-date drivers for your computer hardware, either direct from the vendor's website or from the chipset manufacturer's website if the vendor's has not been updated in a while.
Finally, of note is that due to the way BioWare's savegame system works, changes made/things fixed in newer versions may not appear in old savegames, especially if you have previously visited the affected area or interacted with any affected NPC's. For some of the related bugs, we can work around this issue, but for others it is not possible.
If, despite these steps, you still experience issues please feel free to post in the Multiplayer category and @ tag me in the post. We need reproducible issues in order to be able to isolate the problem and solve it - since a PC is not a closed hardware system, there's a million reasons why something could break, and crash dumps, save games, and especially something that you can get to happen consistently (even 10% of the time, so long as it's consistent) is very helpful.
Thank you!
