I think they should work as familiars in the sense you can move in and out of buildings with them

Very disappointed my spirit lion is stuck in Shank's house. Kinda soiled my interest in giving this kit a run lol :(

    Yeah, having them work like Familiars would be better (except no Con loss on death please).

    Right now the Totem Animal summoning interface works very poorly in party combat -- you have to keep focus on the summoner during his spell, or you lose the ability to choose a spirit animal, thus losing the class feature until you rest again. For a solitary PC this isn't a big deal, but with a party it is a big deal.

    Either let me pick the specific animal and the target location IMMEDIATELY (not after casting), or give me a separate innate button for each animal choice (and consolidate uses between them, like you do for regular druid turning into animal choices).
