One thing I would love to see in BG1/2 is set items

I don't know if this breaks some D&D rule, but I think it would be nice.


Set items are where you have a set of say Nimz' Sword/Armour/Pantaloons/Helm

Each item compliments each other granting extra bonus depending on what and how many other pieces of the set the character is wearing.

Just a thought, would be fun and rewarding trying to track down all the pieces to a particular set.

    I'm pretty sure this has already been requested, though unfortunately I cannot recall in which thread. I'll report back here with a link if I find it, so that the two can be merged.

    Which started out specifically about the Balduran set and then digresses into Set Items + bonus in general (which is basically what I am requesting) :-)

    Set items? No thanks.. Not in an RPG such as this. Save set items with set bonuses for action rpgs. This would just fundamentally change the game too much I think :/

    This isn't Diablo... Set items are great for a dungeon basher but not for Baldur's Gate.

    There is already the set of Balduran
