Party member attacking other party members.

Three times in the past day one of my party members has starting attacking another party member. Neither are charmed or otherwise being controlled or hostile. This continues until I reload.

For example this past time It started just after I killed the mage in Cloakwood mines. Kahlid started attacking Minsc, neither were charmed, and Minsc wasn't fighting back. I tried to order Kahlid away, but after several seconds he would return to attacking Minsc. I didn't feel like reloading this time so I let him kill Minsc. Then I left the mine and traveled to the Friendly Arms Inn. On the way I was waylaid by enemies, I mention that since it means I had been through combat since the issue began this time. Once I reached the temple at FAI I raise Minsc, and Kahlid immediately started attacking him again. I let him kill him again, then rested at the inn and raised Minsc. Again Kahlid started attacking him immediately. This time I forced everyone to attack & kill Kahlid, picked up his stuff, rested again, and revived Kahlid. As soon as he was revived he began attacking Minsc again... His fetish for killing Misc had lasted several days of in game time, through 2 rests, 1 combat encounter, 2 deaths of his target, and his own death...

All three times this has happened it has been Kahlid, First it was him killing Imoen, then Jaheria, and this time Minsc. I quicksave often so the first two times I reloaded after a minute or two of him not doing what I told him. But this past time I wanted to see how far it would go.

Party members should not continue attacking another party member if there is no hostile action or charm effect, and certainly it should not last through deaths, resting, days of in game time, or combat encounters.

I was able to move Minsc out of the temple, then save and reload from that point. Kahlid is no longer hell bent on killing him, but this has been the third time in the past two days and is quite frustrating.

Something is awfully wrong. Party infighting is supposed to happen but not like this. Khalid and Jaheira were scripted to sometimes attack montaron and xzar if the player character's charisma is too low, but not other good characters like Minsc, and especially not each other. Is it possible that Khalid was charmed by an enemy mage during a fight, or something like it, and his script got stuck?

Generally, Good and Evil characters do not like being together in the same party and will often bicker with one another. Various specific combinations are scripted to fight to the death if they're kept together for more than a few days, although other combinations will just continue to bicker without actually fighting.

However, Khalid and Minsc are meant to be on the same side, so it's definitely a bug in Khalid's script if he attacks Minsc.

I know what's wrong. Khalid's finally had enough of being the 'weakest fighter'. Killing Minsc show's how Khalid is now the alpha-male.

I'm pretty sure that when you have inter-party conflict that leads to fighting, the characters are supposed to say something and then leave your party to fight. Even if the fighting the OP mentioned had been between 2 characters like Montaron and Khalid (ones that would probably come to blows eventually), I would still say this sounds like bug.
