Party Member Circles?

I just swapped out a party member, and have noted that the new party member has a single circle around him, rather than a double circle like the rest of the members. How come?

I'll try to keep these inane little ankle-bitter questions down to a trickle... The last one got answered so quick, I thought i would ask another.

    Can you post a screen shot and a save game? (upload the files to Dropbox/GDrive/etc and post a link here)

    Also, try turning off colored circles in the game preferences and turn them back on again.
