Shop 'til we drop?

Folks,
Am I correct in assuming that once a potion or wand is purchased and used up that it will not be available for purchase again?

No u cannot repurchase used items and I don't believe they ever respawn. Make good use of them :)

You are correct. However, with wands (and other items with charges), before they are used up you can sell them *back* to a store and then buy them again fully charged.

Buying something from stores, whether potion or wand or sword or such, removes it from their stocks. I'm not entirely sure how or when they are renewed.

Aaarrgghhh!! Wish I'd known about the sell back option!!
    Oh, well.....onward and upward!!!

Think the Store will ever offer this possibility??
Seems more valuable than buying a new group member.

I think there is one store in Baldur's Gate city which will buy/recharge wands and which also "allows" stealing, so you can steal back a wand (though won't be able to repeat this as most stores won't buy stolen goods - one recharge is normally enough, though). It's a common Bard tactic...

One store in the city sells all (?) available wands. And unlike other shops, there are no quantities listed with them, so I assume they have an unlimited supply.

    Great. Thanks!!
I'm nowhere near getting in to the city, for whatever reason.

Earlier in the game, some wands can be purchased from High Hedge (Sleep and Fear). You'll find more wands long before reaching the city, too.

Is it the same with bottled potions, like the explosive variety?
