Dual-classing...

So, I started a multiplayer session in BG1:EE and I want to dualclass one of my fighter into a fighter/cleric. Will I be able to do it at some point in the game? because right now I'm level 6 with good stats (I think) and the icon is still not activated. I play as a human female fighter.

You need at least a 17 in the primary stat of the class you're dual classing to, and a 15 in the primary stat of the class your dual classing from. In your case you'd need at least a 15 strength and 17 wisdom. It looks like you're just a point short in wisdom, so if you picked up a tome, you could hit 17 and dual to cleric. I'm assuming you've got at least a 15 strength, but you've got those gauntlets on, so it's masking your true score. Stat boosts from magic items obviously don't count toward the minimums, tomes do, though, since they're permanent.

You can dual class starting at level 2. If the option is greyed out, that means you don't meet the requirements. The possible requirements being stats, and in some cases alignment, as well as having a valid class combination available (i.e. if you're a bard, paladin, sorcerer or barbarian, it'll always be greyed out, as these classes don't have any valid multiclass combinations).

Have you used all the Wisdom tomes in the game? (There's three.) You need one more point in Wisdom to dual to Cleric.

You also have to dual at 6 to get to cleric 7 and unlock your fighter stuff. Otherwise you'll hit the xp cap and be stuck at fighter7/cleric7.

No, I only used one! I found the one in Tymora temple in BG and the probleme was solved
