Steam version / Steam Key via Beamdog?

Awesome news on the OSX version finally getting released.

I was wondering, what's the news on this version hitting Steam? Or is it possible with the Beamdog purchase to get a Steam Key to redeem once it's available?

    It's up to Atari, not Beamdog. But so far there has been no success getting Steam keys for Beamdog purchasers.

    It's also worth noting that, because Atari controls the Steam version of the game, any patches and updates will hit the Steam version after they hit the Beamdog version. The last patch took two weeks to release, if that helps put it in perspective.

    I'm pretty sure he means Steam for MAC.

    Is the same restrictions for Windows Steam, in place for MAC as well (Atari is the only one that can put it on there?)

    Atari is in control of the Steam release. This also means that Atari controls if and when the game is released on Steam for Mac platforms.
