Allow modding to support larger party

One thing I greatly dislike about RPGs with built in NPCs is not allowing you to have them all at once. If you need all the help you can get, why would you leave people behind?
I understand for balancing purposes, but when you're played the game through and through, balance is not so much of an issue.
I'm not saying for the vanilla game to have an unlimited party size, but for modding or editing to be possible to increase the party size, such as in Neverwinter Nights.

I wouldn't be surprised if shortcuts were made and bits of the game were hardcoded with the assumption that you would never have more than 6 people in your party. Un-hardcoding/shortcutting something like this also has a tendency to sprout a lot of bugs.
Again, I think it would be a neat idea..., but I'd put this fairly low on the priority list, to be honest
I would at least love it if characters could be talked to when they're not in your party, just hanging around (such as in the pocketplane) and advance their dialogue, the day it's done in Dragon Age with the camp
So, he didn't outright say 'no'..., but I get the impression it ain't gonna happen. Sorry
Maybe not with the vanilla release, but if they get enough people wanting it, who knows, maybe they'll buckle down and try it
