Any word on when the ranged THAC bug will be fixed?

I had wanted to do a playthrough as an archer, but I've been holding back since the last patch apparently caused a bug with the ranged THAC.

Any word yet on when this issue will be fixed?

    From what I've heard in other threads, the bug is more a problem with how thac0 is displayed on the character sheet than how it is applied. There seems to be a discrepancy between the two, so it's just a matter of correcting the thac0 display, ranged thac0 should be working properly for archers.

    It'll probably be fixed on the next patch, which hasn't been announced yet. It might come along with the Mac version, though. This one comes out on friday.

    Remember, however, that this is just a guess. The folks at Overhaul haven't promised anything in that regard.

    I guess the patch will be released simultaneously with the mac release.
    Though I hope they would release at least a Hotfix for this issue at least a bit earlier.
    My Archer build is on hold currently, too :)
