Ulbright´s Fee for the Tome of Wisdom

According to the info i have, if you offer Ulbright in the Lady´s House in Baldurs Gate 500g for the tome of wisom during the quest for breaking the geas on Lathander, he will give it to you for free.
However, in my game, after him offering me to take the book for free since my need was so apparant, i got the book but still lost the 500g.
since i havent played the original BG, i dont know if this happened in the old game too. feels like an old bug, though... also, at this point not really important, but hey, perfection and all that.

    In the original game he never took the money when he sold it for 500g. It was fixed in BG:EE so he does. There may very well be a hiccup where he takes the money when he offers it for free. I'll check it out.

    Just checked and I see no problem. You can either get it for 500g or you can get it for free depending on reputation.
