So what are the best uses for the mini time stop shadowdancers get?

Closing with casters and setting up backstabs is obvious.

Can you use potions and other items?

    I would say, to hide in the shadow without to be under the foe attack.
    Or you can also flee to be able to hide in the shadow without the penality dut to be in the foe's sight (I don't if there is this kind of penality but I supect it)

    currently it is impossible to cast shadowstep during combat. is this intended?

    I don't see the utility to able to use it only out of a fight, to scoot may be you trigger the traps and run away from they and may be they will not hurt you.

    But it seem the shadowdancer is a little bit bugged :(

    Hey, thanks for spreading my thread!

    I should probably throw in that shadow step doesn't work in combat, but ill wait to try it myself (I only tried it out of combat just before I quit my game). Shame that the kit is so bugged :-(
