Can you IMPORT character from BG1 to 'The Black Pits'?

Can you also create a new party? If you delete the preformed party can you get them back?

    You can save your BG character and import the character file to Black Pits, yes. If you delete just one of the premade characters, they others will be back after adding a 6th one. If you delete them again, they are gone and you can make your own party.
