Must I endure the opening cinematic each time?

Hello,
Each time I launch the game, and before I see the menu, there is a cinematic section. Must I endure it each time? pressing on any key does not make it go away. How can I? and if I cannot, please consider allowing this in a future patch! It is the worst waste of time.
