[Bug] Can't pick proficiencies when rolling New Kit character

Current behavior: When rolling a character using one of the latest kits (Dragon Disciple, Shadow Dancer, Dwarven Defender) it is impossible to add proficiencies. There are no +/- buttons on ANY weapon.

Expected behavior: Proficiencies can be picked as designed for the new class/kit (without using a 3rd party program to 'bypass' the process).

What are you playing on? It works fine for me.

Sorry, should have been more descriptive. And thorough (I usually am, honest), because I forgot I had the latest BG2 Tweaks installed. My usual machine is a Win7 one, I tried a fresh install on an XP machine and it worked fine... So probably a conflict there, though I don't remember installing any kit altering components...

If you've altered the weapprof.2da (check your override!) it will conflict with the update. You'll need to get the new weapprof.2da and add your changes to that manually.

Thanks @Nic_Mercy! After running through every component of the BG2 Tweaks it turned out I had the "true grandmastery" installed. Un-installing (and re-installing) did the trick.

On a sidenote, I never had the guts to tweak the files directly, though I have thought about the things I'd like to do. For instance druid and bard alignments to 3.5e, wider specialist range for half-elf mages and make the blackguard available for half-orcs (Dorn is one, right??). Can you (or anyone else) point me to a tool or tutorial or something? Thanks again.

I cant point to a tutorial but the progrem Near Infinity is pretty handy for editing game files and after you edit it just plops the edited file into your override so you can undo your change very easily.

Googled for a tutorial, and used Near Infinity to achieve most of the things I wanted. It seems though it's not possible to make a half-orc blackguard "rollable" since paladins are only playable by humans, and apparently that's hardcoded. Shame.
