Spell Immunity

When I cast the 5th level spell Spell Immunity on myself and choose Evocation, I still take damage from the Fireballs I cast immediately after.

It seems that the damage I take is reduced but it is not completely negated like Spell Immunity would lead you to believe.

Is this a bug?

    Yes, it is a bug, spell immunity only protects from enemy spells.

    Also, Spell Immunity: Abjuration doesn't protect against Dispel/Remove Magic.
    But I still have to check if it works when an enemy tries to dispel you.

    It is the same bug. Spell Immunity: Abjuration only protects against Enemy (or another party member) Dispel Magic.
