A child in the lighthouse

Eventhough I have checked everywhere and clicked everywhere, the lady still just says "It's not fair. To the north west"... That stretches my paladin patience.

    Have you gone to the lighthouse and killed the wild dogs there?

    Edit: you don't actually save the child because he's scared of you; the mother will get him down later and reward you for killing the dogs.

    There is no bug here, you are not expected to see that child. Mother explains it to you.
