Mod question

So I'm fairly new to using mods, I've only played a few including tutu, NPC Project, Song and Silence, unfinished Business and the Keto NPC. (All of which I love)
Usually when I download a mod it installs two things, the installer for the mod and all the files. These I drop into my BG files and then I hit the installer. Easy stuff.
I recently downloaded the Alora mod however and it downloaded as a rar file. I opened it in winzip and it opened the files but did not put them in folders or anything. I've made an Alora folder in my BG2 files, and have been able to get the installer to download the sound files, but nothing else. Should I have opened the rar file differently? Or am I missing something simple?

Try using WinRAR for all RAR files. It always works for me, and it is free.
