disappearing cursur

I'm new at all this so be patient- BGEE at beginning when I accessed my inventory curser disappears... What gives? Where is best, easiest place to get a patch to fix?

    Single player on vista.. my problem with patches is they always seem to want me to download a lot of stuff- Therefore I'm asking for a secure site to use.

    I hope this bug isn't back again. It was fixed pretty shortly after launch iirc

    Have you tried enabling mouse cursor trailing (or disabling it if you already have it on)? This fixes the problem for me on some of my games (World of Warcraft included). It's to do with rendering the cursor in hardware mode or something.

    In terms of patches, though, you should just update to the latest version of the game using the Beamdog launcher. It should do it automatically.

    In the game's Options menu, select Graphics, and toggle the "Hardware Mouse Cursor" option. That will fix the problem.
