Fitting classes/characters for alignment?

Hey all.

I'm trying to complete a playthrough for each alignment and have the following so far:

Lawful Good- Human Male Cavalier (greatswords/halberds)

Chaotic Good- Human Female Swashbuckler (dual short swords)

Lawful Neutral- Human Female Priestess of Helm (flail or mace + shield)

True Neutral- Human Male Berserker/Druid (dual scimitars)

Chaotic Evil- Human Male Dragon Disciple (quarterstaff)

I need good character concepts for Neutral Good, Chaotic Neutral, Lawful Evil and Neutral Evil alignments and would like for some good ideas.

-trying to stick to medium races (human, half-elf, half-orc, elf)
-not really into powergaming (more rp interested)
-no fighter/mage duals or multiclass for me

Other than that input would.be appreciated :) once I'm done with each alignment I'll have a fun poll u p to vote.for.my canon Bhaalspawn, complete with bios :)

Lawful evil should be a Dark Moon monk or Blackguard. Chaotic neutral fits a jester, I think. Neutral good can be a fighter or ranger, an all around good guy to help protect others. Kitted as you prefer. Neutral evil is great for an assasin. Then again Shadowdancer is a fun kit to try, and neutral good or neutral evil suits him well.

Neutral Good - Archer (then pick up Kivan and Minsc for an all-Ranger smite-fest)
Chaotic Neutral - Bounty Hunter ("I follow no code but my own")
Neutral Evil - Jester (familiar spells help lower saves)
Lawful Evil - Dark Moon Monk or Blackguard are good choices, as @lunar says.

Neutral Evil Elf Assassin duel wielding daggers.

Bit of a waste, since Elves get +1 to attacks with short swords, but not daggers.

Neutral Good- Ranger, kitted if you want- Protects the innocent and fights against evil when it threatens the balance of nature. Kind of bland I guess but I'm inexperienced with RPing Good alignments.

Chaotic Neutral- Barbarian- Lives for the thrill and glory of battle, and doesn't care whether they're fighting for or against a good or evil foe as long as they're a worthy opponent. Possibly worships Tempus, might shun their heritage since murder and subterfuge are the tools of weaklings.

Lawful Evil- Mage, specialized if you want- Hunts for arcane knowledge and power, with the goal of achieving immortality or lichdom. This may change to working towards ascension when they discover their heritage as a Bhaalspawn.

Neutral Evil- Assassin- Has an almost psycopathic love of murder and lack of empathy. Takes the most violent course of action if it brings them closer to their goals.

Wow good suggestions guys :) thanks a bunch!

I think a neutral evil jester shall be my next playthrough, a female half-elf inspired by Harley Quinn and Joker (Joker's ruthlessness and leadership with Harley's smart mouth and antics). Should be fun :D

Will keep the suggestions for other alignments in mind for future runs. Thanks again!

Neutral evil jester is so much fun. Weapons you might consider for rp - mace (for Stupifier, goes great with the jester song and making people act foolish) and darts (for stunning, and easier confusing/spells). An asssassin fits the alignment, too.

Lawful evil screams Blackguard (which I enjoyed very much - roleplaying as the bodyguard of an evil squishy) or Monk.

Chaotic evil - Cleric, Priest of Talos. Lots of great rp elements with Ashideena and the kit ability to call lightning; a natural ally of a fellow nutjob like Xzar.

    Neutral Good = Enchanter Elf
Chaotic Neutral = Human Kensai if you want dual class later on in BG2 to thief or be single class Elf Kensai (schimatars one handed style only in BG1)
Lawful Evil = Skald (any race you like) Fighter heavy follower recommended
Neutral Evil = Bounty hunter (Gnome)

apart from some classes that are intertwined with some alignments(paladin for instance) there is no real signature class for eache alignment.

clerics have their deity's alignment, fighters tend to be lawfull if tacticians, chaotic if berserkers( in rp style),
rangers are only good for no apparent reason in 2.5,arcane casters have nothing to do with alignment(my only objection is with good necromancers) but anyway if you want some ideas here it goes:

lawful evil conjurer: commanding monsters, undead and demons must make a lawful evil character very happy, also blackguard would make sense,as a devil worshipper, serving dark deities, generally shady character with an interest in divine

chaotic neutral: barbarian/berserker, a mighty warrior who's not a total bastard but does not hide his lust for battle either,he's empty without battles to charge into

lawful neutral: kensai, the ultimate blademaster, disciplined and honorable yet too preocupied with his art to devote himself in helping others

neutral evil: bounty hunter or assassin, you give him a pile of gold and a name

neutral good is something almost any class could fit in
