[BUG FIX] Neera incorrect secondary portrait - simple fix

Hi there,

There is a small fix that I made after few hours of trying, hope that it will be helpful.

My problem was that I chose for my female character Neera's portrait. After I met her, she joined the party and walked with me few hours, I realized that she is using incorrect portrait which is unsuitable for her (yes, it was a little delayed reaction...). Besides, her medium portrait in the character sheet was replaced by man small portrait.

Because Neera then had her secondary portrait, overriding her first portrait didn't work.

This bug was reported (and not fixed at all...) also in topics:
http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/9004/bug-npc-character-portrait-displays-incorrect-image
http://forum.baldursgate.com/discussion/9769/bug-neeras-secondary-portrait

So, there is a fix for that problem.

1. Download pack of portraits (I cut them up direct from the game, except for large one, which I couldn't find, so it's taken from internet): https://www.dropbox.com/s/ewgsgvdliq3k9w7/Neeras_secondary_portraits_override.zip
2. Put them in the override folder.
3. Load your game. Voila!

This will work properly if you are not using woman1 or man1 portrait (altough if you use man portrait, probably you will never have this problem). If you still want to use woman1 portrait, probably you can override woman... portraits (Neera's one) with woman1 set (in fact, switching them) and then normally change your character portrait in game.
In case of conflicts you may just delete added portraits from override folder and game will work as before.

This is my first post here, wrote because I wanted to share a fix, so if I posted in wrong category, please don't be cruel and move it :). English is not my first language, sorry if I wrote something incorrectly.

Greetings!

This is already fixed as of the current build. Which version of the game are you playing--and is this a game you just started, or did you start it a while ago and only just now recruit Neera?

Version downloaded from Steam two days ago - 1.0.2012... I thought that Steam version will be up to date, it seems it's not :/. Sorry for posting a needless fix for already patched bug. I did my best trying to find any informations and had to miss it.

(Anyway, I've googled for a while and figured out that I can't download now the newest patch because it won't be available on Steam at least for a week. So however at the moment it's the only way for me to fix the problem.)

So, now I've got a patched .2014 version and actually... problem isn't fixed or is fixed only partly.

    Here's what I did:
    0. Deleted overriding portraits.
    1. Started a new game with Neera portrait.
    2. Recruited Neera - then she had her secondary portrait WOMAN1 (and correct WOMAN1 medium portrait).
    3. Changed PC portrait to Neera secondary portrait (WOMAN1), saved and loaded game. Neera's portrait then changed to third one (WOMAN3) and she had a MAN1 small portrait in character sheet, as reported before in case of secondary portrait.
    4. Changed PC portrait to Neera's prime portrait, saved, loaded. Her portrait didn't change.
    5. Changed PC portrait to Neera's third one (WOMAN3), saved, loaded. Neera's portrait changed to secondary one (WOMAN1).

And that's it. There is no way (except for overriding) to change Neera's portrait in already saved game from secondary to prime one. Also there's still a problem with a picture in character sheet when she change the portrait to a third one.

Correct fix would work this way:
In point 3. Neera's portrait should change to prime one. That's all.

    EDIT:
I've replaced portraits pack with better one - small portrait had wrong dimensions. Now it's corrected.
