save/interface lock issue

this has happened twice; 1st time in the cloakwood mines & 2nd time in the screen just north of the Friendly Arm...
i quicksave & the both trackpad & keyboard become unresponsive
i should be able to keep playing after i quicksave

    I've had a similar problem on PC since Update 7. Saving, loading, or quitting the game freezes the screen and becomes unresponsive for up to 15 seconds. If I click or press any buttons, the game crashes. This doesn't appear to be a mod problem, as I restored the unaltered backup versions of the base game files and deleted everything in my override folder.
