Thief Traps not giving experience?

I would imagine that this would balance traps out IMMENSELY but I used bounty hunter traps (both kinds) to kill Silke and I got no experience for it. Is this correct?

    I don't really use traps myself, but I'm 99% sure you should still get xp from enemies killed with traps. So this sounds like a bug.
