Clearly announced that a quest giver has a quest

This was done well in ToB in Saradush…

Suggestion: “Quest givers” could clearly announce that they have a quest (e.g. with text above head "I have a quest to give…" or a different highlight circle colour).

If I was told exactly where to go and what to do I wouldn't have ended up strolling around the forest dying all the time. I don't want to be spoon fed objectives.

I agree with the previous two posters, if everyone important is already signalled to you then there is less insentive to go talking to random towns folf, and stumble across things you may have missed before.

No. Hand-holding is rampant in current "RPGs".

Also a big no to any kind of quest markers, compasses, glowing paths, etc. 5-year olds should be playing outside, anyway.

lol Yes this is just the most grating of suggestions. Not sure what the OP is talking about regarding Saradush in ToB either, but I doubt if he was standing at a conspicuous corner holding a sign like people at the airport and saying, "Hey, you! Dummy! Yeah, you the player. Are you a quest-receiver? What a coincidence: I'm a quest-giver. Have I got a quest for you!"
