[HELP] BG:EE folder

I recently uninstalled BG:EE and also deleted the Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition folder in Documents due to a bug with a mod.
After that, I installed everything again.
The problem is that there was no BG:EE folder in Documents this time...
At that point I tried to create it by myself with the backup files I kept (portraits, baldur.ini, sp and mp saves, character, screenshots).
Still, ShadowKeeper doesn't see any of my saves/chars/portraits and, what is worst, my baldur.ini doesn't influence my current game.
It's like the folder I created anew in Documents doesn't work at all.
Any ideas?
Can someone upload his folder? I'm not sure it would work, but I could try.

Should you need to do that again, a better and faster procedure would be uninstalling the mods, eventually deleting the remaining files in override (if any) and selecting repair install.
Using the standalone launcher this can be done right clicking on the diamond shaped icon at the right bottom corner. I don't use the Beamdog Client or Steam, but they should likely provide a similar feature.
The repair install procedure will check files in your install and will download only the ones that were altered (usually dialog.tlk). There should be no need to delete the folder in Documents.
