Minimum time needed to complete new NPCs quests?

I'm trying a monk and two NPC (Imoen and Brawwen) run through but I would like to complete the NPC quests. What is the most efficient way to complete Dorn's, Neera's Rasaad's quests, so I don't share too much of the EXP?

    Dorn and Rasaad's quests won't be completable until you gain access to the city of Baldur's Gate, which isn't until after the Cloakwood Mines.

    As for Neera, just keep her around and eventually it'll start. If you feel it's going slowly try force talking her (click on the "talk" icon and the click on her.) Neera's quest can be done at conceivably any time.

    Can I start D&R's quests after Baldurs gate or do I need to keep them hanging around?

    Dorn doesn't have a specific area, so his a spread out throughout the game.

    I would say that completing neera's and rasaad's quest areas takes no more than an hour or so.

    Dorns quest takes 15-20 minutes.

    So, if you are already running with a minimum crew, why worry about XP? If you do most of the things, you will absolutely hit the level cap. And if you remove the cap, you still aren't going to get more than one level (maybe two) beyond the cap. Once you get to BG2, you will be getting so much XP that any extra from BG1 will be inconsequential.

    Just saying.

    Neera: Take her when you meet her, travel to Nashkel, do Mines. Rest a few times, and the area should be open after you cleared the mines.

    Dorn: Take him after Cloakwood Mines, talk to Taris in Nashkel (or just go to the Mine Exit map and move east). Fight Kryll there, then go to Bridge, fight Simmeon, done.

    Rasaad: Haven't finished this, but same as Dorn; needs access to city/dock district, so no point in having him in the party before Cloakwood. I guess you can just talk to him twice after that. The conversations trigger as fast as Neera's.
