[Mac Bug] Map problems after updating to OSX 10.8.3

Observed Behaviour:
After updating the OS all the icons on my map appear very faint. They are still selectable when moving to different areas, but very difficult to see.
Expected Behaviour:
All the areas on the map should show up black for places previously visited, dark blue for areas not yet visited, or brown for other important locations.
