Stats on inventory page

in New Players (NO SPOILERS!)
Hi,

On the BGEE inventory page in the upper-right hand section there are stats for AC, Hit Points, THAC0 and weapon. Would someone explain to me what the numbers for the weapon stats mean? In the circle next to the weapon description/stats my fighter is showing 7 and 14 and I don't know what that means!

    It means damage output of your character. 7 and 14 means that your character will deal 7 (min) to 14 (max )damage in combat (d8+6 roll).
