CLAB files for specialist mages missing

As I just wanted to mod Xan I noticed, that CLABMA0x.2DA files are all missing. However they are still noted in the kitlist.2da. Does anyone know if this is intended? Or for what purpuse were they removed?

Also, there are two empty CLAB files CLABDM01.2DA and CLABDM02.2DA, which I never noticed before. Does anyone know what they are? Could it be a new upcoming class or does it have something to do with those mages?

Yes, the Mage class and its kits do not make use of the CLAB mechanism in the vanilla game, so no one bothered with creating empty CLAB tables for them. If you create the CLAB file(s), that'll work just fine, however.

@Wisp Thanks I already created it. However I could swear that they were in the game originally and must have been erased in one of the patches (and they certainly are in BG2). But it's no problem if I can create them.

They don't exist in BG2 unless you use mods.

@Wisp Ah OK, thanks, that must be it.
So as for the second part, do you know what those CLABDM files are for?

@Pecca - one thing I've noticed is that Wild Mage uses CLABMA01 (which should be the slot for the unkitted base class Mage), and similarly Dragon Disciple uses CLABSO01 (which should be the slot for the unkitted Sorcerer base class).

You can "move" the Wild Mage and Dragon Disciple's files in KITTABLE, and they'll work correctly, but if you don't move them, you can't use the CLAB*01 for the base Mage or base Sorcerer.
