Soundset issue

EldmoreEldmore Member Posts: 22
Here's my problem... I made a custom soundset all in wav format and everything.. I named it male7. When I try to change my sounds at the customization menu it does play in the menu but not in game... why?

The way that custom sounds work in BG:EE requires you to name the custom soundset CUSTOM0 through CUSTOM9.

The reason for that is that sound sets now use a .2da file to tie them to strings; we've supplied entries for Custom0-9, but you can also use a modding tool like NearInfinity to open up Charsnd.2da and just add a column, call it Male7, and it should work just fine.

Read the following thread. I had this issue too, but the whole "Custom0 Through 9" thing didn't work for me.

However Luigi gave a easy to follow tutorial for getting all of your sound sets in working order. Best of luck to you.
