Im just curious as the deck of many things is one of my favorite magic items.

    On the 4th floor of watcher's keep dungeon in bg2/ToB

    Ah, the Deck of Many Things. Good times.
    I remember my tiefling Warblade drawing from one. He got the Death card, which meant he had to solo a high-level wraith armed with a powerful scythe. I managed to win with some lucky crits. That character caught a lot of lucky breaks, actually. One time, he one-shot a balor with a maneuver because it rolled a 1 on its Fortitude save.
