Montaron. Shot, stub, steal.
The evil bastard, but he' our bastard!

I cannot realize any alternative evil thief unless being a thief myself.
Whether he might be included as an joinable NPC into BG2 EE?

    They are creating a new thief character in BG2:EE, so sadly no Monty (he is already in the game as a corpse stuck in a box).

    The contract that Overhaul made for creating the EEs stipulated that they couldn't make any major changes to existing story/character content, so I don't think they'd be able to do this even if they wanted to.

    Funny thing how the resurrection spell is so selective in BG...
    this is why i can't understand why murder is such a big issue in bg. if charname "accidentally" kills someone, everyone goes mental. can't i just leave 200-500 gold on the corpse and wait for someone from the authorities to come by and get him raised?

    Damn, Monty/Xzar would be awesome for BG2:EE. i miss having them around. i forgot how enjoyable they were until my current run through of BG:EE
