late tob wise the best stabber is an assassin 24->cleric.
using the helm once each day he can have a simulacrum that has a x7 multiplier, righteous magic for maxed damage roll and having a shapeshift scroll and a mislead one in the quick slots can do multiple stabs as golem, getting 280 dmg/stab, granted, from the 4d10 golem damage only. add 25 str, not multiplied and other factors that are multiplied and he is above the 300 dmg/stab twice each round when hasted. welding the club of detonation in OH he gains other 2 stabs/round that are not so damaging, but are any way something that an enemy will feel.
we are talking of like 800+ stabbing damages/round, granted if the hit connects, not possible max ones, for quite a large number of rounds, enough to take out almost every group of enemies that can be stabbed.
if is worth to go trough a such estreme dual to be a god in a couple of end game battles can be certainly questioned, i personally would never do it.
but the multi CT can do exactly the same, much earlier, let's say at 3M xp, with the only inconvenience that he has a "puny" x5 multiplier, rolling "only" 5x40=200 damage + str and other bonuses added.
so dw the club does probably only about 600 stabbing dmg/round.
but this time without any down time and while adding to the party a lot of utility as to have a thief and a cleric is super useful.
