Where does Dohrn show up? *Spoiler*

I've run two parties through to Nashkel. I've met Neera and Rashaad, but Dohrn has not shown up.
I've see him in the inn at FAI where he won't talk, so I assumed he must be in the area. What triggers
his appearance?

    He'll appear when you travel to the Nashkel Mine, I don't know if talking with him before at the Friendly Arm Inn is a requirement for that to happen though.

    Yes, you must talk to Dorn before heading to Nashkel Mines, otherwise he will disappear, never to be seen again, at least until BG2:EE...

    you have to speak to dorn at FAI before moving between nashkell and nashkell mines. if you've already done the mines, don't worry. return to FAI speak to him, travel to nashkell then travel to nashkell mines and he should appear

    They changed it? In previous patch you couldn't recruit him later as you describe @mjs.
