Is formation movement possible in multiplayer?

I'm playing BGEE with 3 other friends. I'm the leader. I would like to be able to select the entire party and move everyone in formation. I can only select my character and an NPC that I control. I can look at the inventories and character records of the other players, but I can not select characters assigned to the other players for the purpose of moving them in formation.

We all have Version 2014. I have the multiplayer port open, the other players do not.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

    That's the way it is. If you're the Host, you control the NPCs formation, along with you. They control theirs.

    However, they can assign control of their character ( or use to be able to ) for you to use like every other NPC. Not sure if you can assign scripts to them though.

    I'd suggest using the guard button. That way the others will follow you at least if not in formation
