Copy Steam version to DVD

Hi,

I've already asked this question of the Beamdog version, but I'm also interested about the Steam one. I love digital download, but still like to have something physical to fall back on. You know, if there's a nuclear winter or the human race ends and brings down the Internet.

So, I'm wondering if its possible to copy the Steam version of the game to a memory stick or DVD? I'm guessing you might be able to copy this entire folder and it'll work? Or will it still need to connect to Steam?

C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition
