WIndows Version: How to access the Store in the initial game screen?

in New Players (NO SPOILERS!)
My version of BG is not letting me access the store for things like Dorn, etc. The button is greyed out and will not activate. Is there someplace I have to register or something?

    All currently available content is included in the Windows version by default, so the reason it's greyed out is that you already have it.
