NWN2 - MOTB: Inexplicable drop in Wisdom

(POSSIBLE SPOILERS)
I've been playing through this solidly for about a week now, and all of a sudden, I notice my character (Monk lv 27/Fighter lv 1) has their wisdom reduced from 18 to 14. I have no level drain effects on me, or negative statuses of any kind. The only thing that seems to 'fix' it is the sword of Gith, which brings it back to normal, but unequip it and we're straight back to 14 on WIS.

Anyone know why this is? And how to rectify it?

I wonder if it is due to the spirit eater somehow? It's been years since I played MoTB.

At first, I wondered if it had something to do with my choosing to take a level in fighter, but that makes no sense, as I'm not using armour. My spirit levels are always above 70, so it can't be a penalty, either. Maybe it is just a bug.

Tried it... and it does NOTHING??

What the hell, game?! Piece of crap! I did it perfectly, and still it stays at 14 in red. Do I have to take off all my stuff first?

I would try looking at it with a character editor program and see what your stats look like in there. You can also edit them directly in there if there doesn't seem to be any apparent cause you can otherwise remedy.

I got it from GOG, it should still be possible, yes? Does it have its own character editor?

I've downloaded it, but when I attempt to install, it says it can't find the directory.
I've not long been awake, so maybe I'm missing something, but I don't know where to put it so that it will work.

It was the deea pouch, stupid thing was affecting my stats.:D Dropped it like a deuce.:D

The second link had the info to address the problem on it trying to find your directory. You need to go into the properties part of the file and change it.
