Improving game speed?

Welp, i'm having an issue with my game speed. I've gone in and tried changing the maximum frame rate, nope... i've also read on some peoples thing about putting in this -- > 'Graphics', 'OpenGL Version', '1', ... well, that didn't work either (and i put it in the RIGHT place... i just can't remember off the top of my head ) Okay so any help would be appreciated!!!!!! I just want to be able to play the game with out going crazy that my Sorceress travels as fast as a slug... THANKS!!!!

What kind of graphics card do you have? If it's Intel chipset, you can try the things listed here:

I'm having the same problem. I see comments in the linked thread about turning down the graphics but why would I need to if I can play Icewindale 2 and Neverwinter Nights just fine? This game is a lot older with lesser graphics.
