After loading a save state in Icewind Dale, my characters suddendly went up to level 25! O_O

    Did they really went up or just gained enough experience to do it?

    While you were away, your characters were stuck killing the same respawning Yetis for 11 years.

    It happened to me too in Icewind Dale 2 on Heart of Fury. After one load, my characters were on level 30.
