Transfering to Steam?

Hello,

I bought the BG:EE (great job BTW) awhile ago through Beamdog when it first came out. Is it possible for me to transfer it to Steam at all? I use Steam for everything else, and had I know the game was coming out on Steam, I would have bought it on that platform.

Not trying to complain or anything, I just wanted to know if it was possible for me to consolidate it over to Steam or not.
