How much XP in BG:EE for a totally complete run?

You can max out a party of six by chapter 5. So.... way more than you need.

Just over one million xp total for every quest and everything you would expect to kill without slaughtering whole towns. You'll end up with around 250,000 xp.

I think 1.2 million is a bit generous.

I think 1.2 million is an excellent guess. So a party of four would be looking at about 300K per character.

You'll trivialize the game if you play an uncapped party of four.

In my Party of 6 no-XP-Cap run, everyone ended up at around 200,000 each, varying a bit here and there, which makes 1.2 Mil probably about accurate.

Probably not. I did a fair number of quests 'the good way' anyway, but lsts out on a few others, and didn't mindlessly slaughter all and sundry for extra XP.

Though I did kill Drizzt and Shandalar, which is like 39,000 XP between them, so that probably boosted it up. I think the numbers are likely to be aroudn the same. Bear in mind you actually make about 30K+ in the final battle alone if you kill your bro' and all his subordinates, which gets aded to your final-save export. I can't remember how much Semaj or Tazok are worth, but Sarevok and Angelo are worth 25K between them.

There's more than enough XP to max out 6 people including 2 dual-classed humans by the end of the game. Trust me, I just did it. So you can easily dual-class 4 humans in a party and still max them before you enter Durlag's Tower.
