And you activate defensive spin...

While holding the Spiders bane...

Do you win the grand prize?

    Nah. In vanilla BG2 you could use Defensive Spin with Free Action and still be able to move, but they changed it for BG:EE.

    That makes me a sad panda, I took point into two handed sword just for this :(

    Don't worry, continue into BG2:EE, get Use Any Item at high levels, equip Carsomyr, Offensive Spin, win the game. That's my plan with my Blade.

    IMHO it's a waste not to dual wield with a Blade, e.g. Belm and Celestial Fury

    It's a waste not to dual wield with anyone capable of wielding Belm, Kundane, or Scarlet Ninja-To. It's not specific to Blade :P
