Unable to re-recruit Aerie

I dimissed Aerie whilst she was equipped with the staff of magi and cloak of non detection. Whenever I enter the circus tent she turns invisble. I have tried dispel and detect invisibility but she that doesnt work, if I use an area attack spell she appears but attacks me. How can I resolve this? Can shadowkeeper be used to remove an item from the game? If that is the case how do I do this? If anyone can help i would appreciate it!!

Detect illusions on a thief should work.

I think @DreadKhan has a good solution. I believe that thief skills go around most magic. Another idea i would have is using an uber dispel from Keldorn.

Detect Illusion scroll didnt work, or setting the thieves skill to impossibly high values! I will have a go with Keldorn.

If you enabled the CLUA commands:
use an area spell, she will attack you, put the mouse cursor on her char, press Ctrl+Q to recruit her back.

This, and a couple hundred other bugs, are addressed by the BG2 Fixpack. Dispel Magic will work against the invisibility from SotM, even under the Cloak of Non-Detection.

I have the fix pack installed already, I have just reinstalled it all but no joy. For some reason I cannot get console commands to work - despite having altered the ini file, changed it in notepad whilst unning notepad as an admin. Keldorn didn't help.
