Game won't start

So I've had this problem before, my game suddenly won't start up after the launcher loads and I press Start. The launcher closes as if the game was about to start but it never does, the process completely stops.

Up until now the game has worked fine and I've never had any issues, I haven't changed anything (knowingly) I've had this same problem before so I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and that seemed to fix it but I'd like to avoid doing that again. Any ideas?

    No idea what would cause that, but to get around the issue if it comes up in the future, maybe try starting the game directly, rather than through the launcher. Use Baldur.exe, located in [Installation Directory]\Data\00766\

    Thought of that before, get this error even running as admin and all.
