New bodies found

Just started a BGEE run and I found something I never saw before (or atleast I think so). In the area just north of Beregost there is a campfire with a bunch of hobgoblins around it. Just to the west of the camp site there are three boodies on the ground, looks like a man, a woman and a child.
I cant remember ever seeing random bodies there before....They do not have any possesions so you cant do anything with them.
Do they have a purpose? Did they use to be there before? I admit I'm not extremely young anymore so my memory might have slipped....but I don't think so.

    That area is not north of Beregost but north of Nashkel.

    On the bodies you can find the Colquet family Pendant (it seems a normal necklace) that you can take to Mr Colquette in Beregost.

    I didn't find anything on the bodies, maybe i had to talk to Mr C before I found the bodies???

    Try a tab-search; the item should be there regardless of whether you've talked to him or not.

    I did tab-search.......... nothing.

    Or could the hobgoblins have had it and I mistook it for a "normal" necklace???

    Are you doing your looking on your first trek through the area? If not, the item may have decayed, as items left on the ground do after a certain time frame. One day I think?

    That might be the case, not sure I tab searched the first time, and it was way longer than a day before I returned.

    I'm not sure when exactly, but I think @revaar is right and the necklace disappears after a day (or resting?).

    I don't know if it disappears, I always picked it up when I first discovered those bodies that weren't on the 'Dudley' maps I was using as guide. If my memory serves me right, and that's iffy :), It was very near the bodies, not on them.
