No Coronation Ceremony?

The coronation ceremony does not trigger. I have Sarevok’s diary and several letters proving his guilt, I also have the invitation to the coronation ceremony. Entered the Ducal Palace but… no coronation ceremony!!! What’s the hook? Is there a trigger somewhere that is not doing its job? Or, have I forgotten something?

Loaded an old save from ch 6 and went on from there. Entered BG and all went smoothly. Did a bunch of stuff to save the duke and to expose Sarevok. Got his diary and several letters proving his guilt, and got an invitation. Entered the Ducal Palace for the coronation and… yes, the coronation show was on! I must have missed something the first time but can not figure out what.

To put this simple: What’s the minimum requirement for getting the coronation show going?
