Can't access cloak wood mines?

I finished the bandit camp (killed all the head honchos there), read the letter, completed chapter 3, now I am in chapter 4. I went to cloakwood lodge and acquired Coran. Tried to beat the spider queen but she was quite tough. Now I want to go to the mines so I can kill a wyrven (at the wyrven nest). But I have gone to friendly arm inn, went to the left of the screen and north left, but the mines still don't show up!? Please, someone help? I am playing baldurs gate from GOG.

    You can't access Cloakwood Mine immediately after Cloakwood Lodge appears on map. You must travel from map to map: Cloakwood Lodge -> Cloakwood Nest -> Cloakwood Druids -> Cloakwood Wyverns -> Cloakwood Mine.
