How to enter custom portraits for non-playable NPCs and enemies?

For other NPCs it gets trickier. You can do it by modifying the .cre files in Near Infinity, adding the portraits manually to each character. I sometimes do this with important people in BG1: Gorion, Sarevok, Tamoko.

So I would try SarevokL , SarevokM and SarevokS.
The portrait that you want could be opened in Paint, resized L(210x330), M(169,266), L(54x84) , and saved in your Portraits file as a bitmap.
